Job Overview

Provides University Relations & Recruitment Program Management in support of company university and talent development needs.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Manages activities and provides specialized support for University Relations and Recruitment events and programs, including but not limited to event logistics, ambassador assignments, university Public Relations, past intern participation, supplies coordination, attendance list maintenance, and IT/catering/security/facility/travel coordination.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Develops and implements University Relations and Recruitment programs and events, including but not limited to Covance Internship Program, Externship Program, Med Tech Mentoring Program, Spring Break/Job Shadow Program, Road Trip Events, Covance on Campus Workshop Events and Campus to Covance Open House/Class Visits/Tours and Tier 1 University research.

  • Leads all logistics related to a multi site summer Internship Program, including but not limited to program communications (internal & external), candidate sourcing and recruitment, interviewing and selection, program event/workshops, orientation (for interns and managers), evaluations, and end of summer presentations and program close tasks.

  • Develops and maintains an effective University recruitment-related network.

  • Contributes to the continuous improvement of the University recruitment process and adheres to agreed upon process.

  • Deploys branding activities around University recruitment.

  • Responds to campus candidate/student inquires about application process and follow up expectations from the RTS team.Provides University Relations & Recruitment Program Management in support of company university and talent development needs.

Education/Qualifications

Recommended:

  • Associates or Bachelors degree (or country equivalent) and relevant experience with Human Resources highly preferred. Post High School education strongly preferred

  • Four years of Administrative or Human Resources Related Experience

  • Experience of working in a matrix

  • Global HR experience preferred

  • Attention to detail, organization and follow-up skills are critical to this position.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Professionalism with first class communication, presentation and interpersonal skills required.

  • Resourceful, creative and proactive. Results oriented with excellent organizational skills.

  • Skilled in research of recruitment trends and competitive intelligence.

  • Understanding of applicant tracking systems.

  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.

  • Strong interactive media and computer skills.

  • Demonstrated project management skills.

  • Knowledge of Human Resources practices, laws and regulations in geographic areas of operation, especially related to recruiting.
