To receive bulk tankers, ensure they met quality and safety standards, transfer liquid ingredients in and out of raw tanks & insure raw liquid ingredients are available as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities: Sample, receive & CIP Bulk Tankers, coordinate with Batching Operator for the transfer of raw product, ability to operate separator and online blending, monitor levels of tanks, ability to grow and assume increased responsibilities as Company requirements dictate, flexibility to vary work schedule dependent upon production and staffing needs, follow all Company and governmental policies and regulations (e.g. SOP, GMP, LOTO, Safety, etc.), follow job specific SOP's, keep all areas of responsibility clean and organized, keep neat and accurate records and paperwork per Company and government policy, perform necessary preventive maintenance on equipment, report all equipment malfunctions and abnormalities to Plant Shift Supervisors, Management and/or Maintenance, suggest any new preventative maintenance tasks that could be added to improve efficiency, eliminate downtime and product failures, work with maintenance personnel to effect repairs as necessary
Requirements: One to six months related experience, ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals, ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos, read, speak and write English, team Player able to work with other members of the processing team, be able to adapt to changing priorities and conditions, willingness to work flexible shift's depending on project/production requirements, motivated self-starter with the ability to work in a team and independently to achieve team objectives, State Certification for Receiving Bulk Tankers - provided by the company, work in wet or humid environment, work in cold or hot temperatures, work near moving mechanical parts with risk of electrical shock, working with toxic or caustic chemicals, work in an area with loud noise level, requires employee to stand or walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, use of hands to reach and feel, required to talk, hear, and smell, required to regularly lift up to 25 pounds, with capabilities to lift up to 50 lbs.
