Facebook seeks an experienced Product Marketing professional that has a strong background in marketing to manage a team of Product Marketing Managers. The successful candidate must have experience working with sales teams to drive product adoption in a fast-paced Internet or online marketing company. He or she must thrive with cross-functional teams and exhibit customer service and product positioning skills. He or she must also have experience managing a team of high performers and influencing stakeholders in the organization. This is a full-time position and can be based in either Menlo Park, CA or in New York, NY.
Coach and support the career development of a team of Product Marketing Managers
Partner with Sales leadership to drive product understanding and adoption
Partner with Product Marketing Managers to grow new advertising products and existing solutions
Prioritize, distill and surface market intelligence to shape future advertising products
Aggregate individual client or vertical needs into broader trends/analysis
Identify scalable paths to grow priority product adoption in region
Build cross-functional relationships and prioritize work to efficiently deploy finite capacity
Communicate with leadership internally and externally
Provide in-market feedback on planned training programs, actively participate in sessions
Minimum of 10 years of experience within advertising/digital marketing.
Minimum of 3 years people management experience.
Demonstrated product marketing experience in the web technology sector and experience contributing at strategic, operational and tactical levels.
Track record of influencing behavior at variety of levels in the organization, including cross-functional managers.
Experience with customer service and in a client facing capacity.
Experience driving resolution in the context of competing perspectives.
Organizational and people management experience, including experience setting priorities and problem-solving.
Communication and presentation experience.
